This policy explains what personal data I collect, why I collect it, how long I keep it, who receives it, and what rights you have. It applies to eglishiakalli.com and to everything you receive from me: the free guide, my emails, and my online courses and workbooks.

When you download the free guide or join my email list

I collect your first name and email address. I use these to send you the guide. If I also want to send you marketing emails afterwards, the signup process will clearly tell you this and I will use the appropriate lawful basis and consent mechanism required for electronic marketing. Marketing consent will not be hidden inside this Privacy Policy.

Where consent is the legal basis, you can withdraw it at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

When you buy a digital product

I collect your first name, surname, email address, country, and the details needed to process your payment. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe and never reach me.

Legal basis: performance of our contract.

I may also retain transaction and invoice information where necessary to comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

When you use a course

I can see which lessons you have opened and when. I use this only to make sure your access is working and to improve the course.

Legal basis: my legitimate interest in delivering and improving what you paid for.

When you visit the website

Standard technical data may be recorded, including your IP address, browser and the pages you visit.

Legal basis: my legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website for strictly necessary processing.

Analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking technologies will only be used in accordance with applicable cookie/ePrivacy and data-protection requirements, including consent where required.

I work with a small number of service providers who process data on my behalf, under contract:

·         Systeme.io — hosting of the website, courses and email delivery

·         Stripe — payment processing

I do not sell your data. I do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Where a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, I will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and provide information about the safeguard where required. This may include an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard, depending on the provider and destination.

Email list data: until you unsubscribe, after which I retain only what is reasonably necessary to honour the unsubscribe/suppression request and meet legal obligations.

Purchase records: for as long as required by Cypriot tax and accounting law.

Course access data: for as long as your access lasts, unless a shorter period is sufficient or longer retention is required for a legal claim or legal obligation.

I periodically review the personal data I hold and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Under the GDPR, where applicable, you have the right to:

·         ask what data I hold about you and receive a copy

·         have inaccurate data corrected

·         have your data deleted

·         restrict or object to how I use it

·         receive your data in a portable format

·         withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it

If you believe I have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can promise perfect security.

My digital products are written for parents. They are not intended for children, and I do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 16 through these services. If you believe a child has given me their data, please contact me and I will investigate and, where appropriate, delete it.

eglishiakalli.com uses cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the site and checkout to function.

If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential technologies are used, visitors will be given clear information and a genuine choice before those technologies are activated where consent is legally required. The cookie banner will allow users to reject non-essential cookies as well as accept them, and to change their choice later.
